HELPING COMPANIES BETTER SUPPORT WORKING FATHERS.
Helping fathers thrive at home and work—while building healthier, higher-performing workplaces.
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
Working Fathers Are Carrying More Than Most People Realise.
Fathers often balance:
- Pressure to perform at work.
- Parenting demands and time scarcity.
- Relationship strain under fatigue.
- Guilt about not being present enough.
- Silent & compounding stress few people talk about.
- Fear of failing their family.
- Identity shifts after becoming a dad.
Which can lead to:
- Reduced focus and productivity.
- Higher stress and risk of burnout.
- Absenteeism and disengagement.
- Lower morale and resilience.
- Increased turnover risk.
- Strained relationships impacting performance.
- Mental health decline.
WHY SUPPORTING FATHERS IS SMART BUSINESS.
Employees are no longer separating work life from home life the way previous generations did. When fathers are supported through the realities of modern family life, organisations often see stronger wellbeing, loyalty and all round performance. When fathers feel better supported at home and work, they often show up with more energy, focus and commitment. Investing in fathers can lead to:

HI, I'M WILL.
I’m the founder of The Modern Dad, a movement dedicated to supporting fathers.
Before anything else, I’m a dad. Fatherhood has been one of the greatest teachers of my life—shaping how I lead, how I heal, and how I show up for the people who matter most.
Like many men, I’ve experienced the pressures, challenges and growth that come with raising a family while navigating work, identity and responsibility. That lived experience is what drives this work.
Alongside fatherhood, I’ve spent years working across trauma-informed practice, mental health, systems change consultancy, suicide prevention, facilitation, men’s mentoring, community development, and wellbeing.
The Modern Dad brings those worlds together—lived fatherhood experience and professional wellbeing expertise—to support dads in meaningful ways, while helping organisations build stronger cultures through better support for working fathers.
